Purple treatment:

Our London

Photos by Mallory Clarkson/London Community News London’s four ‘leading men’ had their fingernails and toes painted purple Monday (Nov. 1) to show their support for the Shine the Light on Women’s Abuse campaign. Not only did London Mayor Joe Fontana sport a boa during his manicure and pedicure at Artistic Esthetic Spa on Central Avenue, but so did CAO Jeff Fielding, London Police Services Chief Brad Duncan and Brent Shea, deputy police chief. For the second year in a row, the campaign, which is put on by the London Abused Women’s Centre, is hosting events throughout the month of November to raise awareness and money for the cause.
