The 65-year-old woman charged in connection with a crash at the south London Costco that killed a six-year-old girl and her infant sister is facing an additional charge.
After further consultation with the Crown Attorney’s office, on Thursday (Sept. 25), Ruth Burger was charged with an additional count of criminal negligence causing death in relation to the collision, which occurred on July 25 at Costco on Wellington Road. Newborn infant, Rhiannon Bozek, died Friday, Aug. 1.
None of the charges facing Burger have been proven in court.
Burger's next scheduled court appearance is Oct. 21.
