Toronto police say they're investigating a rash of thefts from schools in the city's east end.
They say the thefts have all taken place during the day when schools are in session.
Police say the main suspect in the case is a woman who enters the school pretending to be a parent trying to register her child.
Once in the building, police say the woman has located empty classrooms or offices and made off with electronics, cash and personal items.
They say there have been thefts at seven schools since last month.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
