Our London

London police are searching for one suspect after they were called to the area of Richmond Street at Sunnyside Drive at noon when an officer called in to advise a man who might have been armed had fled from a vehicle. Multiple officers answered the call and a foot chase ensued, but the suspect was not apprehended. The area was contained by officers and a loaded .357-calibre handgun was recovered.
The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Dean Dickieson of London. He is currently wanted for numerous firearms-related offences. Dickieson is described as being white with a shaved head, about five-foot-seven, 160 lbs, wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
A woman was also arrested at the scene, but has not been charged at this time as the investigation is continuing. The vehicle is being held for investigation.
Dickieson has fled police before. He was arrested without incident and charged with one count of attempted murder, assault and assault with a weapon after being accused of stabbing a 43-year-old woman multiple times in August 2012. The woman who was stabbed was treated and released from the hospital.
