Add another one to the London Knights win streak as they extended it Nov. 7 at Budweiser Gardens by beating the Windsor Spitfires 5-3.
The Knights haven’t lost in eight games now.
Max Domi couldn’t find the back of the net in London’s last win — an 11-1 thrashing of Guelph — but he picked up a natural hat trick in the second period against Windsor. Two of those goals came on the power play.
Knights forward Matt Rupert started the scoring for the Knights in the first period and Michael McCarron finished it after Domi’s flurry in the middle frame.
London goaltender Tyler Parsons ended the night with his first win at Budweiser Gardens in three tries and pushed his record to 3-4. He’s won the last three games his played in and made 39 saves in Nov. 7’s contest.
The Knights have now scored five-plus goals in seven of their last eight games and have tallied 52 goals over that time.
London will head to Guelph on Nov. 9 to take on the Storm, a team they beat 11-1 Nov. 6 at home.
