Nearly 150 people packed into the balcony and main floor of Aeolian Hall Saturday night to listen as five musicians performed at the Great Canadian Fiddle Show. The audience was treated to driving traditional melodies, influenced by regional styles of fiddle music from across the country.
Described as a night of traditional Canadian fiddle music, the show was a collaboration of some of the best fiddlers in the country who came together for back-to-back performances in Hamilton on Friday (March 9) and in London the next day.
The troupe consisted of Celina DiCecca from Hamilton, Colleen Jenish from Oshawa, Cindy Thompson from the Ottawa Valley, and Kyle and Jake Charron from Barrie.
